frequently asked questions..

that we're glad you asked & we're super happy to answer!!

Do I need grip socks?

Yes! Grip socks are required for all classes at Reform West for both safety and cleanliness. Forgot yours? No worries. We have grip socks available for purchase at the studio before class.

What happens if I’m late?

We allow a 5-minute grace period after class begins. Once the warm-up has ended, we’re unable to allow clients into class.

The warm-up is an important part of preparing your body for the workout, and arriving late can also disrupt the experience for the rest of the room. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early so you have plenty of time to check in, get settled and get ready to move.

Can I take an Advanced class?

If you’re brand new to Pilates, we recommend getting comfortable with the reformer and our method before jumping into an advanced class.

Most Reform West classes are all-level friendly, with the exception of RW Method (Advanced). If you’ve been practicing Pilates for a while, feel confident on the reformer and are ready for an extra challenge, we’re all for it!

We want to support your Pilates journey in the best way possible, so if you’re unsure whether you’re ready, ask your instructor! They’re always happy to guide you.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident while moving! We recommend clothing that allows you to move freely and gives your instructor a clear enough view of your alignment and form.

Leggings, biker shorts, fitted tops and comfortable activewear are all great options. If you choose to wear a skirt or dress, we recommend wearing shorts underneath. And don’t forget your grip socks!

What should I bring to class?

Keep it simple: your body, an open mind, a water bottle to stay hydrated and your grip socks. We’ll take care of the rest.

What happens to my class credit if I can’t make it to class?

We understand that plans change! We have an 8-hour cancellation window before the start of your scheduled class. If you cancel at least 8 hours in advance, your class credit will automatically be restored to your account so you can use it toward another class.

Cancellations made within 8 hours of class, as well as no-shows, will result in the class credit being forfeited.

We recommend canceling as soon as you know you won’t be able to make it. This also gives another client the opportunity to grab your spot!

What if I’m pregnant, postpartum, or recovering from an injury?

Your instructor is there to support you! If you are pregnant, postpartum, recovering from an injury, or have any physical limitations that may affect your practice, please let your instructor know before class begins.

This allows us to better support you throughout class and offer modifications when appropriate.

We always want you to feel comfortable listening to your body. If you’re unsure whether Pilates is appropriate for you during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or while recovering from an injury, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before returning to class.

How do I book a class?

Booking your next class is easy! You can view our schedule and reserve your spot directly through reformwest.com/schedule, or download the Reform West app for easy booking on the go.

Once you’re logged into your account, you can browse the schedule, choose your class, and book your spot.

We recommend booking ahead whenever possible, especially for your favorite class times!

How do Credit Packs work?

Credit Packs are a one-time purchase with no contract or automatic renewal. Choose the pack that works for you, and use your class credits whenever it fits your schedule.

All Credit Packs have a 30-day expiration period from the date of purchase, so be sure to book and use your credits before they expire.

Credit Packs are perfect if you want to Reform on your own schedule without committing to a recurring membership.

Do you host private events?

Absolutely! We love celebrating with you.

Reform West can host private in-studio reformer classes for birthdays, bridal celebrations, team outings, friend groups and other special occasions.

For availability, pricing and event details, reach out to hello@reformwest.com and our team will help you plan your private class.

I’ve never done Pilates before. Where should I start?

Welcome! If you’re new to Pilates, we recommend starting with Reform Foundations, offered every Sunday at 11:00 AM.

This class is designed especially for first-timers or anyone looking for a little refresher. You’ll have the opportunity to get comfortable on the reformer, learn the foundations of our method, and become familiar with the movements, spring changes, and terminology you’ll hear in class.

Once you’re feeling comfortable, most of our classes are all-level friendly, with the exception of RW Method (Advanced).

No experience needed. Just come ready to learn and move. We’ll guide you through the rest!

How early should I arrive for my first class?

For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10 minutes before class.

This gives us time to welcome you, check you in and answer any questions you may have before class!  After your first visit, arriving 5–10 minutes early is perfect.

Can I bring my phone into class?

We encourage you to use class as a little time away from your phone. Please silence your device before class begins and be mindful of the experience of those around you.

If you’re expecting an important call or need to keep your phone nearby for any reason, just let your instructor know before class.

Which class should I choose?

It depends on what your body is asking for that day.

Flow is for fluid, full-body movement and mobility. Reformer Strength focuses on heavier resistance and progressive loading. Reset is your space for restorative movement, stretching and breathwork. RW Method brings you back to classical Pilates with an emphasis on precision, alignment and control.

Not sure? Ask us! We’re always happy to help you find the class that feels right for where you are in your practice.

What’s the difference between a membership and a credit pack?

Memberships = our best price per class + a consistent routine.

Memberships include a set number of class credits each month at a lower price per class than our credit packs. All memberships begin with a 3-month commitment and automatically renew for another term unless a cancellation request is submitted at least 30 days before the end of your current contract term.

Credit Packs = more flexibility + no recurring commitment.

Credit packs are a one-time purchase of class credits that can be used within the pack’s expiration period. There’s no recurring membership or contract, giving you more flexibility, but the price per class is higher than with a membership.

Planning to Reform consistently?

A membership gives you the best value.
Need more flexibility? A credit pack may be the better fit.

How do memberships work?

All Reform West memberships begin with a 3-month commitment. After your initial three months, your membership will automatically renew for another term unless a cancellation request is submitted.

If you’d like to cancel, please email billing@reformwest.com at least 30 days before the end of your current contract term. Not sure when your contract ends or when you need to submit your request? Just email us! We’ll be happy to confirm your exact dates so there are no surprises.

Need a little break but don’t want to cancel your membership? Membership pauses may be available. Reach out to the same email and our team can help you with your options.

We want you to always feel informed about your membership. For any questions regarding billing, contract dates, renewals, cancellations, or pauses, please reach out to billing@reformwest.com. We’re always happy to help.
